“Not only is her nose beautiful now, but her breathing is much improved.”
A small inconspicuous incision at the base of the nose is used to shape the nasal bones and cartilages. This is done under direct visualization to maximize control. Changes made in this patient included straightening the nose and septum to improve both nasal aesthetics and functionality. The nasal valves were also repaired. The dorsum or nasal bridge was also sculpted as was the tip for definition.

All photos are taken with the same camera, lighting, facial expression, and angle. This ensures an accurate representation of the surgical result.
This patient in her forties had a history of nasal trauma and suffered from nasal airway obstruction and facial disharmony secondary to the dorsal hump and elongated nasal tip. Though communication regarding her concerns and visualizing the anticipated changes that surgery would provide, an individualized plan was developed.
Here she is photographed three-months after surgery. Changes to the dorsum are best seen on the lateral or side view, while the frontal view shows smooth contours and a nose harmonious with adjacent facial structures. Not only is her nose beautiful now, but her breathing is much improved.
