This patient had long considered having a rhinoplasty. She finally decided to go through the operation and was so very happy she did. Her crooked nose was straightened and her hump was removed. The tip is now much more defined and in the correct location.
Our nose changes as we age. One of the changes is a drop in support for the nasal tip. This creates a longer nose that we may have displayed at a younger age. By sculpting this patient’s tip and reestablishing tip support this patient now displays a much more youthful nose.

This patient is presented to help others better understand the rhinoplasty recovery period. She is several weeks after surgery. While not all patients bruise around the eyes, it is not uncommon. This can be well hidden with make-up and usually resolves by the second or third week. The swelling will continue to improve but as in her case the vast majority resolves in the first two weeks. The result is happy patient with a greater self-confidence.

This patient had undergone a primary rhinoplasty years ago by a different surgeon. Unfortunately, the result was problematic. She developed significant collapse of her nasal airway and retraction of her nostrils. She had been unhappy for over 10 years but did not want to undergo any additional surgery. After she witnessed Dr. Lee’s rhinoplasty with two of her close friends, she decided to give him a try. She was thrilled with the result. The retraction of her nostrils and deviation of her nose was much improved. Her profile was improved and best of all she can now breathe.
Like many of Dr. Lee’s patients, this young lady had trouble breathing through her nose. Not only can rhinoplasty make a nose look more harmonious with the face but it can also improve obstruction of airflow. This patient now breathes much better than before with only subtle changes to her external appearance.
